What is CNC?
CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control and refers to the automated control of machining tools (such as drills, lathes, and mills) by computer. A CNC machine processes a material component to meet standards by following a coded programmed instruction and without the use of a manual operator.
What materials can be used in CNC machining?
A CNC-machined item can be made of almost any material; however, the most common materials are aluminium and wood, as well as fibreglass and plastics.
Do all workshop builds take place in house?
The overall construction projects will be completed in-house. When specialised items are required or must be created, we will source them from reputable suppliers.
How long will my build project take to complete?
This will be determined by the project’s size, complexity, and volume, among other factors. We will be able to provide completion dates once we have discussed the project with you.
Can I see what the end product will look like before it has been made?
Before we build the final product, we can provide sketches and CAD drawings/diagrams of what it will look like.
